The Rainbow Trout, a fresh water fish – ranks 9th world-wide in the list of fastest fish (both fresh and salt water). The Rainbow Trout reaches speeds of up to 8 metres per second and is followed by the Sacramento Pikeminnow (another fresh water fish) at number 10 which reaches 6.7 metres per second. A nice title to hold but still nothing compared to the Black Marlin who heads up the list at 36.1 metres per second. So Wahoo for you!
